Central, Hong Kong (1:265)

Built in precision to a MTR exit, this layout of LEGO Central is a follow-up to the Tsim Sha Tsui project constructed by Legend Bricks Hong Kong LEGO Creators Club in 2012 (https://www.flickr.com/photos/jaredchan/7182279934). Model covers Hong Kong’s former Central Government Offices, the current / former headquarters of Hong Kong’s only 3 note-issuing banks, as well as 3 of old Hong Kong’s key judicial, legislative and religious buildings, which are now declared monuments of the city. All these different buildings vary in architectural style yet they look really good when put together, I guess this is what makes Hong Kong special.

Prominent buildings and structure featured in the model (In alphabetical order):

Bank of China Building

Former Central Government Offices

Former French Mission Building#

HSBC Main Building (Redesigned based on the first version built for LEGO Hong Kong Limited, see related project below for details.)
